FIRST TIME RANGE VISIT FAQ'S

Please take a minute to read these important details about your visit to the Shooter's World Range.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION?
    Only Shooter's World Members may make reservations. (Interested in membership? There are many benefits to joining. Visit here for more details and make a reservation today!)

    Non-Members must visit our range and check-in. Check-ins are completed at Shooter's World in-person and not over the phone or online. All lane assignments are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  2. DO I NEED EYE AND EAR PROTECTION?
    Yes. We require eye and ear protection for everyone entering the range.  Choose from a variety of affordable eye and ear protection, starting at under $6.00 combined.
  3. WHAT DOES IT COST?
    Range time pricing is per-hour (limit of one hour -- for current range pricing, please visit our "Info, Pricing, and Rules" page after reading this information.). Each participant aged 14+ entering the range must purchase range time—children age 13 and under shoot for free with a paying adult or member. If you remain on range beyond one hour, you are charged for an additional hour. Sorry, we do not prorate range time.

    If you are visiting us alongside a Shooter's World Member, you are required to pay the standard hourly pricing for your visit, including any overages.

    Every Friday is Ladies Day (all day long) at Shooter's World.  Women shoot free for one hour and receive unlimited free rentals* (Shooter's World ammunition must be purchased with your rental.)

    Test-It-Tuesday is every Tuesday.  Range time is discounted and rentals are free.  (Shooter's World ammunition must be purchased with your rental.)

  4. WHAT IDENTIFICATION DO I NEED?
    A current and valid Government Issued Identification is required as proof of identity. Photocopies or pictures of an ID Card are not accepted.

    Out of state visitors must provide current and valid Government Issued Identification.

    Out of Country visitors must provide current and valid Government Issued Identification.  Passports are accepted.
  5. HOW OLD MUST WE BE TO SHOOT?
    Each member of your party must be age 6 or over.

    !! IMPORTANT MINOR INFORMATION !!
    Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

    OR

    The parent or legal guardian must complete a Parental Consent/Child Waiver Form (click to download) AND have it notarized. This document must be completed before arrival and brought with the adult authorized on the Parental Consent/Child Waiver Form on the day they visit.
  6. HOW CAN I SAVE TIME IN ADVANCE?
         Each participant must have a waiver on file.  You may not enter the shooting range without one.  You may complete a waiver in advance or in-store, but we recommend you complete one in advance.  Complete your range waiver here.
  7. CAN I RENT A FIREARM?
    Yes! We have over 100 pistols and rifles combined available for rent, including Class 3 firearms. We employ a Buddy System.  If you do not have a firearm and wish to rent one of ours, you must have at least two people in your party. All rentals require the purchase of Shooter's World ammunition.
  8. FOOD & DRINK
    No food and drinks are allowed on the range.  Please finish your food and drink or place it in your vehicle prior to proceeding to the register and getting on the range.  We cannot hold on to food and drink for you.
